I’d like to recommend the amazing Inner Health Clinic. What an absolute gem of a place, we first went when I noticed they had a Vinyasa sunrise yoga class on Wednesdays at 7am. We had looked everywhere for a non hot yoga class as I’m not a fan. What an amazing class, small, friendly and my husband and i have been every week for the past couple of months. I then booked for Reflexology with Mel and it was one of the most wonderfully relaxing and soothing experiences I’ve ever had. Then my husband wanted to explore colonic irrigation, having given up meat a couple of years ago he wanted to ensure non remained on his gut. 3 sessions later he’s loved how he’s feeling and even talked me into trying it! It was not what I was expecting but Ruth Tansey was so amazing, I have my second session booked already. I’ve had another combined reflexology and reiki session with Mel and all of the yoga, colonics and holistic treatments are helping so much with my hormones and joint pain. It’s such a lovely clinic, very accessible and they are very easy to deal with. Ruth is so knowledgeable and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. If youve considered a colonic but are nervous (I was!) I highly recommend Ruth and also the yoga is fantastic vinyasa flow for all abilities and Mel is a gifted Reflexologist and holistic practitioner. The detox itself was great—no supplements, just the shakes—and while it took willpower, it really worked. By day two, I could tell it was clearing waste from deep in the colon. Where I struggled was the post-detox period. The HRT seemed to disrupt everything, and with IBS, it hit harder. It’s taken a couple of months to rebalance, but I’m finally back to normal—and honestly, things are working better than before. My symptoms always improve after a course of colonic hydration. Ruth makes the colonic experience comfortable and respects patient dignity.
